The vast amount of Internet transactions take place without any negative consequences. A recent study suggests that less than 1% of Internet transactions are fraudulent. But sadly, sometimes it does occur. We don't condone the fraudulent use of our services. If we receive any complaints from other users that they have been defrauded, we will do an investigation and terminate the account of the guilty party. We also report and actively cooperate with law enforcement when such activity occurs. IP addresses are also recorded during registration. In the event of law enforcement investigation, we will turn over personal information if we are served a subpoena by a law enforcement agent. We suggest that in all of your dealings that you use delivery confirmation during shipment of goods. This ensures that you can definitely prove that you made an attempt to deliver your goods. It is also used by services such as PayPal to provide proof of no fraudulent intent by the seller. Delivery confirmation is available when shipping by FedEx, UPS, the United States Postal Services and other carriers. If you are involved in a fraud report on our site, that is the first thing we are going to ask you for.

Buyers

The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C). The NFIC is the only nationwide toll-free hotline for consumers to get advice about telephone solicitations and report possible telemarketing fraud to law enforcement agencies. In 1996, the Internet Fraud Watch was created, enabling the NFIC to offer consumers advice about promotions in cyberspace and route reports of suspected online and Internet fraud to the appropriate government agencies. Their phone number is 1-800-876-7060 and their website is located here. The best rule of thumb is if the deal seems too good to be true, then it probably is. Never send funds to a seller via Western Union or Money Gram. That is a sure sign of a scam. Our site offers direct payment by credit card to those sellers that can utilize it. That is a very safe method of payment to use.

Fraud Reporting	We actively investigate all reports of fraud on our system. Although we do not offer fraud insurance, we do work closely with buyers, law enforcement and the federal government in all cases of reported fraud. To report a problem with a seller after a transaction please login to your account and access the abuse reporting form. This is found in the My Account tab under the Abuse Report subtab.

Internet Scams

Be on the alert for scammers who may entice you to participate in their ploys. Beware of offers to send you a check for an amount larger than the purchase price and then ask you to send the item and refund you the difference.
